An outstanding Architectural Icon of Cobourg.
Immediately
in Front of The King George Inn, the
Hall was opened in 1860 by the Prince of Wales.
Designed by Canadian architect, Kivas Tully,
it is the political and cultural centre of
the Town with a grand city hall
featuring a sunken courtroom modeled after London's Old Bailey and a Grand
Ballroom with trompe-l'oeil decoration. Open for
Tourists to visit.

Marie Dressler House and Museum
Dressler House, built in 1840, is the birthplace of Oscar-winning 1930s
actress. This picturesque brick cottage, which is
also the Town's visitor information centre,
has a memorabilia room well

It's a Two Minute walk from The King George Inn. Exhibits describe Dressler's cinema career, including a video and a mock-up from the set of Min and Bill - the house remodelled -

The Victoria Park Bandshell

If you cross-country ski the
Northumberland Forest has a trail for you. From the middle of December through March (weather
permitting) seven trails, which wind through natural woodlands and pine
